The last week we had my father in town and my sister Macey coming to the Springs on a few occasions with her boys Alex and Ben aka Blondie Ben. One night while prepping dinner Macey comments that Ben needs haircut and of course he is reluctant and says his hair is fine.
I offer that I could assist with the haircut dilemma and of course Ben is resistant and showing little interest. Like his cousin before him from last month he had his price. I offered him $25 to readjust his do' and coaxed Granddad to cough up an additional $25 and Ben's attitude changed drastically and he was pumped for a new look!

Blondie Ben Ready n Waiting |
After dinner we made it a family event and pulled out the hair cutting kit, a stool, and convened in the garage to make Ben more aerodynamic and of course attractive to the middle school chicas! Ben was not too crazy about the ceremony of it all but he could deal with it knowing he had some greenbacks coming his way.

Admiring my artistry |
After the first style above we go back in the house and Ben then "admits" that he "likes short hair" and that we should cut it shorter. After a discussion with Macey, cousin Henry (see the archives of the blog), Ben was good with the fact that most of his hair would grow back before school so he said "can you cut it shorter?" So...................back to the garage and power up the trimmer again...........
